The wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose. (Isa 35:1 KJV)
For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground . . . (Isa 44:3 KJV)

JOY: Morning Manna September 28

JOY

Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.  Psalms 30:5 KJV

A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world.  John 16:21 KJV

Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.  Hebrews 12:1-2 KJV

Romans 8:28 tells us that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Knowing God's plan makes it possible for us to take our eyes off of our present sorrows and focus on the joy that is to come.
